Job Details Job Location: San Juan, PR 00907 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $60,000.00 Salary/year As the successful candidate, you will – perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Corporate and General Aviation aircraft. You will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality. Key Responsibilities – Accomplishing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the airframe and its systems. Performed Track and Balance using different manufacturers equipment. Troubleshoot and repair discrepancies on helicopters as they arise. Maintenance of associated ground equipment. Perform compressor rinses or washes in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Wash helicopters as required. Perform incidental travel as required and accompany helicopters to the maintenance facility as needed. Assist with aircraft fueling as required. Track aircraft and component inspection, overhauls, and time/life requirements via maintenance tracking program. Maintain and keep aircraft records current and organized. Communicate with factory technical representatives effectively when required. Inspect, test, repair, maintain, and service aircraft. Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects. Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components, and accessories, using hand tools and power tools. Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems, using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment. Test engine and system operations, using testing equipment, and listening to engine sounds to detect and diagnose malfunctions. Service and maintain aircraft systems by performing tasks in accordance with the manufacturer's technical data. Performs other duties as assigned. Follow all policies and procedures. Keep a clean and orderly work environment. Perform job duties in a safe manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications – Airframe and Power plant (A&P) Certificate 5 or more years of Helicopter Maintenance and 5 years General Aviation and / or corporate aircraft maintenance experience Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals. Possess adequate tools. Valid driver's license with good driving record. Valid US Passport. Working Conditions and Physical Demands Your work week would be Monday through Friday. As a condition of your employment, you will be required to participate in the AOG / On Call program. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration; chemicals including aviation fuels and oils.
