  • Proven experience in a service delivery, scheduling, or contact centre environment.
  • Strong IT literacy – confident using job management systems, MS Office, and other scheduling tools.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills – able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to remain calm and effective under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders including engineers, contract managers, and third-party providers.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Helpdesk Scheduler to join our busy Service Delivery team until 27/10/2025 working Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm . In this vital role, you’ll ensure the right engineering resources are deployed at the right time, helping us achieve first-time fixes and meet our customer response targets.
Using our scheduling systems and processes, you’ll be the key link between our helpdesk, engineers, third-party suppliers, and contract managers—making sure all reactive and planned works are managed smoothly and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule all reactive and planned works to the most appropriate engineering resource, considering location, skillset, and response time targets.
  • Monitor engineer activity in real-time, addressing any issues as they arise.
  • Ensure all job information is accurately logged into the appropriate IT systems.
  • Follow up on jobs marked as incomplete by engineers and reassign where necessary.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers, raising Purchase Orders and Work Requests when needed and ensuring completion details are obtained.
  • Handle all communications promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate any issues related to jobs, clients, or engineering staff as needed to the relevant stakeholders.
