Key Responsibilities: * * Treat customers, peers, and other stakeholders with kindness and respect under all circumstances.  * Log support issues as reported by system users.  * Provide advice and assistance to users to resolve reported issues.  * Troubleshoot and resolve computer, software, application, and password related issues.  * Prioritize and assign reported issues to Systems Analysts as appropriate.  * Maintain proficiency with technology and software used at the hospital.  * Coordinate issue resolution with departments, physicians, other users, vendors, and IT staff.  * Answers telephone calls and provides information in accordance with company and department policy.  * Receives and screens telephone calls, mail, and visitors.  * Receives, handles, and transfers phone calls and messages within the department promptly and courteously.  * Keeps confidential information in a secure place. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.  * Attends meetings as required.   Qualifications: Required * One year of relevant experience in IT support or a similar role. * Knowledge of computer operating systems and common software applications. Physical Demands: * Occasional lifting and carrying of supplies or equipment up to 30 lbs. * Some climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching required to access equipment and supplies. * Frequent use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment. Work Environment: * Frequent exposure to noise from computer printers and telephones. * Minimal exposure to bio-hazardous materials, moving parts on equipment, and electromagnetic fields. * May experience irregular hours and shifts.
