Position Description:
?Purpose
The Help Desk Technician will be providing first-level IT support by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for customers or employees experiencing hardware, software, or network problems.
Essential Functions*
Provides basic technical support and assistance via email, phone, and/or other remote methods.
Provides customers with preventive maintenance and configuration recommendations to improve product usability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Possesses a basic understanding of network protocols and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues
Possess basic understanding of azure active directory
Possess basic understanding of SharePoint
Support, maintain, repair, and replace in-house computer systems, desktops, laptops, and peripherals, including printers and scanners linked by a network
First point of contact for help desk tickets, reviews, resolves, and follows up on help desk tickets but escalates more complex tickets to appropriate people
Maintain Office 365 licensing for users
Responsible for imaging of pcs and assigning users in active directory
Responsible for distribution of new employee hardware

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Stay up to date with both technical and interpersonal skill set to ensure sharp knowledge and skill set
Point of contact for pc vendors and copier vendors for repairs
Submission of requisitions for IS inventory
Participate in multiple projects simultaneously
Offer technical support on-site, by phone, email or in person to internal users
Provide efficient tracking of IT Inventory
Qualifications
Associates degree in Computer Sciences or other technical school degree in computing, networking, or information technology or Comp TIA A+ certification or two years experience in the field of computer repair or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Experience with Epicor, Windows, Office 365, Azure, and active directory ,
Valid state DMV issued or valid foreign country issued drivers license
Basic scripting skills (powershell, vbs, javascript)
Basic understanding of PowerApps platform

Ability to move objects up to 50 pounds
Capable of positioning ones self into bending, stretching, climbing, or awkward positions
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
