The Helpdesk Manager – Travel System(s) Financial Support is responsible for overseeing the technical support operations related to financial processes within the Defense Travel System (DTS) in support of the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) Travel Assistance Center (TAC). The Travel Systems Financial Support Manager leads, trains, and supports analysts who assist DoD travel enterprise customers with financial-related travel system issues, including budget administration, debt management, and payment processing.

  • Manage day to day interactions with current and prospective clients.
  • Manage and deliver components of client engagements.
  • Develop and maintain contact with decision makers at key clients; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies

Professionals will focus on key client issues that are at the core of the business by integrating our industry expertise with deep technical and operational transformation capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Manage and oversee the financial support helpdesk operations within the TAC.
  • Ensure financial support operations align with contract standards and the established Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
  • Lead and mentor analysts providing technical support for DTS financial processes.
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance on:
  • DTS Lines of Accounting and Budget Administration
  • Debt Management and Resolution
  • Centrally Billed Account (CBA) Reconciliation
  • Disbursing and coordination with Financial Partners
  • DTS payment processes including Scheduled Partial Payments and Advances
  • Ensure at least one member of the team maintains subject matter expertise in CBA transactions.
  • Coordinate with Immersion PM, DTMO PMO, and DTS PMO on financial system updates, issue resolution, and process improvements.
  • Support DTS permission level actions and financial document status update
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and contribute to the development of training materials and SOPs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience at the enterprise or DoD component headquarters/major command level in DTS financial operations
  • Understanding of DTS financial modules and processes
  • Familiarity with DoD financial regulations and systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience may substitute education requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience managing a helpdesk or support center in a federal or DoD environment
