Responsibilities
Provides support to end users on various Reserve Pay and Personnel issues.
Answers telephones, communicates with clients, diagnoses hardware and software malfunctions, and troubleshoots problems.
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems, as well as responds to telephone calls, emails, and face-to-face requests regarding Reserve Pay and Personnel technical support.
Documents, tracks, and monitors the Reserve Pay and Personnel problem to ensure a timely resolution.
Actively communicate with and develop working partnerships with Tier II and Tier III NIWC Help Desks, and leadership, managers, or other technicians within the Reserve Services Branch and Reserve Transaction Support Center under Navy Pay and Personnel Support Center, and My Navy Career Center as necessary in support of Reserve Pay TT resolution, and other Navy pay corporate level stakeholders to facilitate establishing and maintaining common operating pay pictures in direct support of Navy mission requirements.
Supervisory duties may include determining personnel requirements, setting schedules, and ensuring that those under their direction have adequate resources to complete their jobs.
Attend meetings and briefings and provide reports.
Provide weekly or monthly activity reporting as required
