JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you a customer service-oriented individual with a passion for technology and a desire to help others?
As a Helpdesk Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technology support and troubleshooting for employees across our organization. You will serve as the first point of contact for our users’ technology issues, and be responsible for ensuring that those issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Starting wage is $23/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or a technical support role required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically required.
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating system required.
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools preferred.
  • Experience with Active Directory preferred.
  • Ability to lift items up to 50lbs required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to all users.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails, responding to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Document customer issues and resolutions in our helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Escalate more complex issues to senior support resources as needed.
  • Provision and deprovision user accounts.
  • Installation of technology equipment (PC’s, printers, phones, etc.) at company sites.
