The past years have seen growth and success, and as such we have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Helpdesk Technician to join our team in Appley Bridge, Wigan. In this important role, you’ll be responsible for supporting our customers throughout their journey using our bespoke applications and hardware.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a great attitude and a genuine interest in your work, with a willingness to learn.

REQUIREMENTS

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE

· Keen interest in IT and technology
· Experience using a ticketing system (Freshdesk, Zendesk etc)
· Experience in a previous technical or customer service role.
· Other IT/Technical qualifications
It would be advantageous to have your own mode of transport as links to public transport is limited due to our location.

Responsibilities

· Provide application and hardware support and guidance to end-users of varying levels of ability.
· To provide support for all our customers via phone, email, or remote access.
· Investigate and resolve technical queries.
· Proactively manage, prioritise and plan own work queue and deal with calls in accordance with our SLA’s.
· Take ownership of issues and escalate to senior staff as required.
· Liaise with 3rd Party Suppliers to resolve issues for our customers.
· Installation and configuration of software & hardware when required.
· Perform maintenance and upgrades of software and hardware in response to support tickets and customer needs.
· Ensure that accurate records are kept on the helpdesk and the user is always informed of progress.
· Update and acquire information from clients.
· Creation of documentation on common faults and queries for future reference.
