Position Summary Responsible for executing helper duties to assist the assigned crew. Primary Responsibilities Must know applicable safety rules; use basic tools and take care of the tools, be knowledgeable of fire protection. Assists workers with the necessary tools, supplies, and equipment. Assist with loading and unloading materials and maintaining equipment. Use of hand or electric power tools and pneumatic tools, and care for these tools. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment onto and off of vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient material handling. Building and ground maintenance; handling trash; and assisting in the maintenance of tools. Assist with troubleshooting minor problems with tools or equipment and notifying the foreman if further assistance is needed. Qualifications · 3-year industrial construction experience preferred · Knowledgeable of tools and equipment. · Industrial construction experience preferred.
