As a Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction and marine-related projects by assisting skilled workers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment. Set up tools, equipment, and materials at work sites Assist carpenters, fitters, masons, and other team members as required Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment or machinery Carry out tasks assigned by immediate group leaders and foremen Support the storekeeper in organizing and managing material stock Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas after each shift Perform tasks in various environments, including near shorelines and in confined spaces Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Contribute to accident prevention by maintaining a clean and organized work environment Follow instructions from immediate supervisors and work collaboratively with team members Assist in the completion of projects by performing various support tasks as needed Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or marine-related work in the UAE Overall 5 years of experience in a similar field Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow safety protocols Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments Good organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean work area Collaborative mindset and willingness to support team members Basic English language skills for effective communication Swimming skills (preferred) Knowledge of rigger or fitter helper duties (preferred) Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities Business Line: Consulting and Operations Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: OnM Operations Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: HR Generalists
