REQUIREMENTS :

  • Be physically able to lift, reach and bend;
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time;
  • Pro-active and independent;

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the driver in completing deliveries and pickups;
  • Understanding how and being able to load the truck in an efficient and secure manner;
  • Count items upon delivery or/upon pick up to match the number on the bill;
  • Be able to use the proper equipment to protect items during delivery; understanding of damage control;
  • Preparation of orders: pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area;
  • Quality control on site; proper unloading, stacking, set up and re-loading;
  • Works as a team member in order to effectively meet results;
  • Empty the truck and replace the stock back to their designated area;
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area;
  • Execute all others related tasks.
    THE WORK SCHEDULE The schedule is set according to production needs, this includes weekends and evenings. The schedule varies based on needs. Overtime is paid according to the Ontario labor standards.
