Description
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a health-related discipline such as health economics, public health, health policy, analytics, or healthcare administration. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare delivery, health plans, or medical device industry— preferably with exposure to vascular or interventional cardiovascular specialties. Strong understanding of U.S. reimbursement systems and policy frameworks, particularly as they relate to novel medical technologies. Familiarity with CMS payment programs and policies including the Physician Fee Schedule (PFS), OPPS, IPPS, Hospital Acquired Conditions (HAC) Reduction Program, and MIPS. Expertise in coding systems (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10), payment classifications (MS-DRGs, APCs), and knowledge of site-of-service payment differentials relevant to TCAR and CVI Treatments. Experience with health economic analysis using large datasets or real-world evidence to answer payer- relevant questions. Working knowledge of hospital revenue cycle management and the financial implications of adopting new capital or disposable technologies. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to lead multiple priorities concurrently. An advanced degree such as MPH, MHA, MBA, MS, or MSc in health economics, health services research, or related discipline. Certified Coding Training Outstanding communication skills and a track record of influencing strategic decisions at multiple levels within an organization. Ability to present complex economic data in a credible and engaging manner to diverse audiences, including clinicians, administrators, and payers. Proficiency with economic modeling and tools that communicate the financial and clinical value of TCAR and out CVI products to stakeholders. Ability to train field teams in value-based messaging and use of reimbursement tools in a compliant and impactful way. High emotional intelligence and customer orientation; able to elicit customer goals and priorities and address them with value-driven solutions. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and adapt quickly to changes in market or policy. Experience working within functional and cross-functional teams, including regulatory, clinical, and commercial partners.
