Description Practice Location: Tampa General Cancer Institute - Tampa, FL POSITION SUMMARY: The Cancer Center of South Florida (CCSF) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematologist-Oncologist with a focus on Multiple Myeloma and plasma cell disorders to join our growing oncology team at the Tampa General Cancer Institute. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice within a leading cancer institute while helping expand and strengthen a specialized Multiple Myeloma program serving patients throughout the Tampa Bay region. The physician will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary oncology team to deliver advanced, patient-centered care using the latest therapies and treatment approaches. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Practice located at Tampa General Cancer Institute, one of Florida's premier oncology centers Opportunity to help build and grow the program Collaborative environment with experienced oncologist, advanced practice providers, oncology nurses, pharmacists and support staff Access to advanced therapies including immunotherapies, monoclonal antibodies, bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T cellular therapies Opportunities to participate in clinical trials and research initiatives Established referral network within a large and rapidly growing patient population Competitive compensation package CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with plasma cell disorders Developing personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapies Coordinating care with transplant centers when appropriate Participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care planning discussions Providing compassionate guidance and education to patients and their families Managing patients across the continuum of diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship Participation in clinical trials and research initiatives Contributing to treatment protocols and care pathways Attending national scientific meetings and continuing medical education programs Supporting physician and patient education in the community Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology Completion of an accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship Demonstrated interest or experience in Multiple Myeloma and plasma cell disorders Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license ABOUT CANCER CENTER OF SOUTH FLORIDA: Cancer Center of South Florida (CCSF) is a physician-led oncology practice dedicated to providing highly personalized cancer care using the latest advances in medical oncology and hematology.
