Scope: As the Haematology Medical Affairs Manager, you will play a pivotal role in translating GSK’s scientific innovation into meaningful clinical impact for patients with haematological malignancies during the critical launch phase of our portfolio. You will lead the development and execution of medical strategies that ensure safe, evidence-based adoption of these therapies across healthcare settings, build credible clinical relationships, and support multidisciplinary teams with high-quality medical and scientific insights. Acting as the medical conscience for the franchise within the country, you will partner with cross-functional colleagues to drive real-world evidence generation, educate healthcare professionals, and ensure alignment with regulatory and pharmacovigilance requirements — all while amplifying patient-centric outcomes and demonstrating GSK’s commitment to improving standards of care in haematology. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for the following: Develop and execute strategic medical plans aligned with company objectives, providing leadership, team management, and motivation while balancing strategic direction with operational execution. Build and maintain strong relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs) to enhance scientific positioning, industry influence, and external engagement. Serve as the internal scientific spokesperson, representing the company’s scientific and strategic vision across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Manage budget execution in compliance with financial, regulatory, and governance requirements, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, dossiers, and medical programs. Lead cross-functional collaboration and regional implementation of clinical studies and product programs, including interactions with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable standards. Support Medical Governance (compliance to GSK Code and other relevant guidelines) in the assigned franchise/portfolio of products and contribute to risk review and management monitoring activities. Provide medical and technical expertise to scientific submissions, and to marketing & sales in the production, review and approval of promotional materials and activities. Final sign off on allocated promotional materials. Provide scientific strategic input to the regulatory and reimbursement teams to allow GSK to demonstrate the value of GSK products to achieve optimal product labelling, reimbursement outcomes and patient access and assist HTA assessments in that regard. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Medical doctor. 3 or more years Medical affairs Pharma experience preferably within Haematology/Oncology. Local experience in the Egyptian market. Proven experience in launching products within highly specialized therapeutic areas. Postgraduate study (Master Degree or Diploma) in the relevant TA and or Business degree is an advantage. Clinical experience in the relevant therapy area is preferred. Fluent level of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
