JOB SUMMARY:

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their North Texas Division is seeking a Hematopathologist to be based at Medical City Dallas in Dallas, Texas.

HCA Pathology Services consists of over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. We provide expert diagnosis in complex and challenging fields.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES:

  • AP, CP, and Hematopathology board certification is required
  • 3 + years post fellowship experience required
  • Experience handling high volume and complex hemepath cases
  • Additional certification such as molecular or cytogenetics is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing

  • A centralized full-service program to serve hematopathology needs for the North Texas HCA division
  • A balanced case mix of bone marrows, tissues for lymphoma work up, blood smear reviews and fluid cytology
  • Sign out with incorporation of all studies into a final comprehensive case summary
  • In house technical services include flow cytometry, histology, immunohistochemistry, cytogenetics, FISH and molecular
