We are seeking a diligent and reliable industrial Class1 & 2 Tanker Drivers / operatives to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have attention to detail and be able to work various environments, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A background in industrial services / environmental services using a variety of equipment is advantageous, as some tasks may involve maintenance duties.
Role Description

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience Driving Tankers and operating HPWJ equipment is an advantage.
  • Working in Confined Spaces.
  • Familiar with Jetting & Vacuuming and Disab equipment.
  • Experience working on an industrial site or similar profession. (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Operating site-specific tools and equipment.
  • Follow site specific health and safety protocols.
  • Carrying out everyday yard duties.

  • Help with Site and yard preparation.
  • Use hand tools and power tools for specific cleaning tasks.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties and adhere to all Health and Safety protocols
  • Assist in the setup or breakdown of different jobs.
  • Previous experience in a industrial cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Have good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Class 1 / 2 Driving Licence
  • Up to date CPC
  • Confined Space certification (Desirable)
  • EUSR Water hygiene (Desirable)
  • WJA card (Desirable)
  • Safety passport (Desirable)
  • Any other site related qualifications/tickets (Desirable)

Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a HGV Tanker Driver / operative
Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers based in Scunthorpe. Drivers will be responsible for hauling and safely disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Day-to-day tasks include driving, operating trucks and equipment while ensuring compliance is kept to a high standard.
Loading & unloading waste materials at designated facilities.
Experience of driving tankers operating a Disab and jetting equipment is preferred.
The role will involve manual work as well as driving and may include supporting workloads at other depots / locations.
All drivers will be expected to follow strict safety guidelines & maintain a clean and efficient truck.
