ROLE PROFILE

· Delivery and collection of Company products and raw materials, ensuring a fast, effective and customer focussed service
· Delivering Company’s products as scheduled by the transport planner
· Discharging products in accordance with instructions on delivery tickets or as requested by the customer
· Adherence with biosecurity measures, health & safety for others and for yourself as well as acting in accordance with all other relevant legislation
· Carrying out daily vehicle and trailer checks, ensuring that it is roadworthy with no defects
· Reporting any vehicle or trailer defects to a member of the transport team in a prompt manner, and maintaining the defects log
· Keeping the vehicle and trailer clean by steam cleaning and sanitising it to the Company’s hygiene standard
· Completion of all necessary documentation and forms relating to the day’s work and handing it in to the transport team
· You will be required to weigh the vehicle in and out of the mill on the weighbridge, it will be your responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is loaded as per the details on the M-Tech computer system
· Working as part of a team and liaising with a wide range of people within the Operational division

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE:

· A valid HGV (C+E) Licence
· CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
· Working knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive Legislation
· Demonstratable skills and experience as an HGV Driver – we will consider candidates from all ranges of experience if they meet all other requirements
· Ability to use a tipper – Essential
· Bulk Blower experience is advantageous but not essential
