The role of a Driver for Heron Foods is divided into 2 areas; professional standards of driving along with the loading and unloading of deliveries meaning it’s more physical than most Driver jobs. • Making multi drop deliveries and assisting in the unloading of products and cages into stores
• Collecting stock and delivering to site
• Collection of empty pallets, steel and cardboard from stores and returning to the distribution centre
• Completion of daily vehicle checks and maintaining working order of company vehicles and any equipment on-board
• Reporting of any vehicle damage or faults
