JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively while adhering to delivery schedules. Experience with flatbed lorries is preferred, but not mandatory.

SKILLS

• Proven experience as a class 1 hgv driver in commercial driving roles.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to operate Double deck trailers safely and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and ensuring load security.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Schedule:

Work Location: In perso

• Operate a Double deck lorry in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, securing loads appropriately.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records, including mileage and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road.
