Class 1 HGV Nighshift Tramping Driver required to join our expanding trunking operation. We are a fine food wholesaler and the role of our night trunk drivers is to move our products between our 4 sites in England. Our Head office is in Scotland and all our trunks run from here.
The trucks on our trunking operation are primarily tasked with servicing our own sites, we do no 3rd party haulage or traction.
Monday to Friday with rotational shifts of 6 - 4 - 4
All days away from home will be on SNAP truckstops, with absolutely no parking in laybys. We want to make sure our drivers at least have access to toilets and washing facilities while away from home and these sites should be more secure and safer for the driver.
30 days holiday entitlement.
£26 night away allowance.
Drivers are always in their own lorry and are expected to keep them clean and tidy, inside and outside.
Drivers are provided with uniform and PPE.
