JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 1 Tramper to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, and have experience as a delivery driver. This role involves long-distance driving and requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various locations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in commercial driving.
• Strong understanding of road regulations and safety practices.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable.

DUTIES

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Plan and execute efficient routes for deliveries, maintaining timely schedules.
• Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are transported safely.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
