QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) license with appropriate endorsements for flatbed driving.
  • Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver

  • Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Operate our Rigid Class 2 lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Load and unload goods securely, ensuring that all items are transported safely to their destination.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes, schedules, and any potential delays.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or queries from clients.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimise risks on the road.
