We are a tight-knit, family run business seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across various locations. This role requires experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtain sided vehicles, and a proven track record as a delivery driver. QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) license with appropriate endorsements for flatbed driving.
• Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

• Operate our Rigid Class 2 lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
• Load and unload goods securely, ensuring that all items are transported safely to their destination.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes, schedules, and any potential delays.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or queries from clients.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimise risks on the road.
