Job Purpose:
Class 2 Driver to join our Trade Waste team. The role involves facilitating the collection of wheeled bin containers, driving company RCVs, and promoting a positive and professional attitude while ensuring all duties are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to and promote health and safety guidelines, ensuring all policies and processes are followed.
• Always strive to complete the collection service to a high standard.
• Use a tablet or mobile phone to report the completion of collections.
• Report any issues that hinder service completion to the Transport Co-ordinator as a priority.
• Support other drivers as requested by the Transport Co-ordinator.
• Complete and report daily walk-round checks of your vehicle.
• Promote a professional image of the company at all times.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Fully adhere to the Highway Code.
• Treat all road users and pedestrians with respect and consideration.
• Ensure the vehicle is presented on time and in a clean manner for PMI, service, tyre changes, repairs, and MOT, as applicable.
• Follow drivers’ hours rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by the company.

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Full Class 2 UK Driving Licence
• Proven experience in driving
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive, hardworking, and flexible attitude

Desirable:

• Experience in trade waste services
• Knowledge of trade waste operations

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: £18.00 per hour
