HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER JOBS – MANCHESTER - WEEKENDS ONLY

Are you an early bird looking for a rewarding driving role? Capital Recruitment Group is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers in Manchester for a well-established fresh produce distributor. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated Class 2 drivers seeking weekend-only shifts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience in Class 2 delivery driving
• Ability to handle physically demanding shifts
• Excellent work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Carry out daily vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Follow planned delivery routes and schedules accurately
• Use handheld software to record PODs and capture delivery images
• Deliver goods to fridges/freezers and handle products with care
• Ensure compliance with all road safety, tacho, and legal regulations
• Maintain clear communication with the transport office and customers
• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital downloads post-shift
