REQUIREMENTS

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

YOU MUST HAVE SWEEPER EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 07:00am start times. Will be required to work away.
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE. If working away, hotel will be paid for and £25 night out payment.
Location: Barnsley, S75.
Job Type: Temporary to permanent.

THE ROLE

· Operate street sweeper vehicles in a safe and efficient manner (may also potentially work on the tipper vehicles)
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
· Navigate designated routes while adhering to established schedules.
· Perform routine maintenance tasks on sweeping equipment as needed.
· Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
· Will be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.

·YOU MUST HAVE SWEEPER EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE.

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
· No more than 3 points on licence (minor offences only).
· Have a minimum of 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
· Have a full understanding of WTD legislation.
· Be prepared to work away from home in paid accommodation as required.
