CONCRETE DRIVER (HGV CLASS 2)

Are you an experienced Concrete Driver in Leiston looking for an exciting new opportunity? Look no further! Eastern Concrete is on the hunt for a skilled individual to join our dynamic team.
As a Readymix Concrete Driver (HGV Class 2), you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our concrete reaches a variety of sites and customers across the East of England. This full-time role offers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Plus an annual salary between £32,572.80 to £36,816.80, including average overtime earnings.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable and customer focussed.
• Excellent time and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to build and retain positive internal and external relationships.
• Hold a full HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC
• Knowledge of Suffolk roads would be beneficial.
• Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties.

• Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of Readymix concrete to various locations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and keep your truck in top condition.
• Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive.
• Complete required paperwork with good attention to detail.
• Assist Plant Supervisor as required.
