We are seeking a reliable and experienced ADR trained, HGV Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving and delivery services, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. This role is essential for maintaining our operational efficiency and providing excellent service to our clients.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • ADR is desirable
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Operate HGV in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively with Office staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
  • Assist with heavy lifting during loading and unloading processes as needed.
  • Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic conditions.
