We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to join our Recycling Division on a permanent basis. Based in Silliot Hill, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out domestic and commercial waste collections across Kildare, Carlow, and Wicklow.
Responsibilities:
Carry out scheduled collections of various waste streams from customer sites in line with company standards.
Supervise and support crew members on route, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Adhere to correct manual handling techniques and return bins to safe positions in line with company guidelines.
Complete daily vehicle checks, paperwork, and compliance requirements.
Maintain vehicles in a clean, roadworthy condition at all times.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure safe working conditions for staff, customers, and the public.
Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.
Report any issues or incidents to the Depot Supervisor promptly.
The Person:
Minimum 1–2 years’ driving experience in a similar role (waste/transport industry preferred).
Full C licence with current CPC certification and digital tachograph card.
Manual Handling and Safe Pass certification desirable.
Strong awareness of safety standards, legislation, and company compliance policies.
Good level of spoken and written English.
Ability to work flexibly across different tasks and routes as required.
Must have own transport to commute to depot.
Problem-solving mindset with a positive “can do” approach.

Pay: €30,659.13-€49,673.36 per year
