We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our recycling operations team in Kildare.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently collect wheelie bins and other waste containers from assigned routes.
Maintain high service quality standards while helping to expand our presence in serviced areas.
Lead and assist operatives during collection runs, ensuring all safety and operational procedures are followed.
Position bins securely and appropriately in line with company standards.
Complete required paperwork and daily vehicle safety inspections.
Adhere to all company policies, driving regulations, and health & safety requirements.
Maintain vehicles in a clean, roadworthy condition and report any faults immediately.
Interact courteously with customers, the public, and colleagues at all times, escalating any issues to your supervisor.
Support company initiatives to protect employee welfare, public safety, and environmental responsibility.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have:
A valid C category driving licence, up-to-date CPC card, and digital tachograph card.
At least 1–2 years’ driving experience, ideally within the transport or waste management industry.
Strong awareness of road safety and legislative requirements.
Manual Handling and Safe Pass certification (desirable).
Good written and verbal English skills.
Flexibility to work in various operational areas as required.
Own transport for commuting purposes.
A positive, proactive attitude with good problem-solving abilities.

Pay: €35,801.29-€57,601.55 per year
