TITLE: HGV DRIVER / LGV CAT C+E (CLASS 1) DRIVER

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work with their client in Newton Aycliffe. Our client is logistics and transportation company based in the UK, specializing in providing a range of supply chain solutions. They have a requirement for a drivers to support them on an ad hoc basis with ongoing work available.

The role:

• Requires driving HGV up to 44t MAM, usually articulated but also free-standing trailers.
• Deliver large goods/packages to various destinations.
• Complete pre and post op inspection of vehicle.
• You may also be required to load and unload goods/products into your vehicle.

The candidate:

• Valid and in date HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence, CPC & Digi Card
• Minimum age 21
• Maxiumum points 6
• 2 years commercial driving experience.

Hours of work:

• Various start times available
• Monday to Sunday shifts

Pay Rates

• Day Shift: - 15.00 per hour (PAYE) - flat rate all hours
• Evening Shift: - 16.00 per hour (PAYE) - flat rate all hours
• Saturday Shift: - 18.00 per hour (PAYE) - flat rate all hours
• Sunday Shift: - 19.00 per hour (PAYE) - flat rate all hours
