..Temporary Harvest position..
Immediate start
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driver to join our team as a Class 1 tramper. 4 nights out per week. Overnight money and meal allowance provided. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering bulk goods to various locations. This role requires proficiency in commercial driving, particularly with tipper vehicles, and a focus on timely and accurate deliveries.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) and up to date CPC
  • Tipping experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
  • A can do attitude is a must
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Over 25 for insurance purposes

Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive tipper lorries to transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Safe discharge of loads and maintain cleanliness of tipping area.
  • Keep accurate delivery logs and records, documenting mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transit.
  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
