JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Hiab Driver. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves operating various types of commercial vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a HIAB driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Familiarity with various types of vehicles.
• Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.

• Operate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Load and unload building materials using a hiab crane
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed and assist with moving materials within the warehouse or job site.
