Aureol Global Connections is seeking three skilled HGV Mechanics to join our dedicated maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and inspections on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. You will work with a variety of vehicle types and brands, diagnosing issues, conducting repairs, and carrying out preventive maintenance work. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using appropriate tools and techniques. Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and services. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in vehicle technology. Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment. Assist with training junior mechanics and apprentices in proper repair techniques and safety protocols. Relevant qualifications in HGV mechanics or completed apprenticeship in commercial vehicle maintenance. Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or in a similar role working on heavy goods vehicles. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Proficiency with a range of tools and equipment used in vehicle repair and maintenance. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude. Valid driver's license and relevant certifications for working on HGVs.
