Aureol Global Connections is seeking a qualified HGV Mechanic to join our team, responsible for servicing and repairing heavy goods vehicles to ensure their reliability and safety on the road. This role requires hands-on expertise and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance, ensuring that all HGVs are maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues with HGV components and systems. Carry out repairs and maintenance, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform preventative maintenance to minimize vehicle downtime. Keep detailed records of services and repairs performed. Follow all health and safety procedures strictly during repair and maintenance tasks. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Stay updated on the latest industry standards and vehicle technologies. Relevant certifications or apprenticeship qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics. Experience working as an HGV Mechanic or similar role. Competence in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in HGVs. Proficient use of diagnostic tools and equipment for heavy vehicles. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and professional attitude. Valid driving license suitable for HGV work and any industry-specific certifications.
