Job Title: PSV Technician (Mechanic)
Reporting To: Fleet Operations Manager
Location: Waterford Depot
Hours of Work: 5 days over 7 (flexibility required)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Formal, industry-recognized qualifications.
• Proven ability and technical competence in PSV maintenance and repair.
• Experience with Mercedes and/or Iveco vehicles is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Flexible, enthusiastic, and driven approach.
• Full driving license is essential.
• A Commercial License is advantageous (training can be provided).

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a PSV Technician, your main responsibility will be to carry out diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and servicing activities on our fleet of Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) in accordance with company and legislative standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on PSVs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on all vehicles.
• Maintain and present vehicles for CVRT testing.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, drivers, and colleagues.
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures.
• Complete job cards and paperwork for inspections and defect rectification.
• Liaise with the parts department for necessary components.
• Address any unscheduled maintenance needs both on-site and off-site.
