HGV MECHANIC / PLANT FITTER – PERMANENT POSITION

Our client, is a highly respected, well-established waste recovery operation based just outside Crossmaglen. They have a strong reputation in the crushing, screening, and shredding of waste, they run a busy site operating their own fleet of lorries and a wide range of heavy plant machinery.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a permanent, full-time HGV Mechanic/Plant Fitter to join the team and support the ongoing maintenance, diagnostics and repair of on-site vehicles and equipment.

• Carrying out scheduled 6-weekly HGV inspections
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on heavy plant and fleet vehicles
• Welding and hardfacing tasks
• Meeting time and productivity targets
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
• Working both independently and as part of a skilled team
