SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Qualified HGV mechanic/technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience working on HGVs, trailers, and related equipment.
• Good knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair methods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Class 1 or 2 HGV licence (advantageous but not essential).

ABOUT THE ROLE

With a fleet of 100+ Vehicles, we are looking for an experienced and motivated HGV Workshop Mechanic to join our busy and friendly workshop team. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of heavy goods vehicles to ensure they meet all safety and operational standards. Rates based on candidates experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of HGVs and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Complete all work to the highest standards in line with manufacturer and DVSA guidelines.
• Ensure all documentation and job cards are completed accurately and on time.
• Work safely and maintain a clean and organised workshop.
