OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver for induction on 1st September 2025 at Tandridge and Waverley sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while collecting waste from various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, compliance to safety practices.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid commercial driving license, CPC and Digi card
• Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine checks and minor repairs on vehicles.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.

• Safely operate lorries and vans for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working order.
• Communicate effectively with Loaders and the Office regarding collection schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records and logs as required by company policies.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on vehicles as needed
