Our client, a various brands commercial vehicle dealership, is seeking for a HGV Service Administrator to join their team.
The ideal candidates will be supporting our Service Advisors with answering telephone calls from clients, dealing with clients in person, liaising with your colleagues in order to maintain timely and accurate information relating to vehicle repairs and enquiries.
Role: HGV Service Administrator
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 Hours Per Week
Location: Reading

Responsibilities
  • Welcome Customers to the Branch.
  • Deal with customer needs face-to-face and over the phone with a professional and friendly approach
  • Answer incoming calls from customers and manage voicemails left by customers in a timely manner.
  • Complete jobcard preparation for all workshop jobs, including pre calls and post calls.
  • Updating customers as directed by Service Team.
  • Assist service team by following up all ‘No Show’ bookings.
  • Assist Gaining authorisation for work required – either from the customer or via customer approval platforms.
  • Support in the utilisation of the HGV MOT Lane and invoicing MOT test.
  • Carry out post workshop visit calls to ensure customers are happy with the experience and service provided.
  • Clarify for the customer and workshop the basis for the repair – Retail / Warranty / Contract
  • Inform customer of outstanding campaigns and arrange for work to be completed
  • Scanning Jobcards over to Admin Team for processing.
  • Completing retail and cash invoicing
  • Build rapport with all staff and customers
  • Work in Progress (WIP) control for the branch.
  • To maintain vehicle history and service records in an accurate, efficient and timely manner in line with customer requirements and operator licence standards
  • To maintain invoice filing in an accurate, timely and efficient manner
