HGV SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR

Perm Placements Ltd are working on behalf of our prestigious client, who have been in business since the early 1900’s and they are the UK’s market leader in the manufacture of Waste management vehicles. There famous brand name is seen on the front of leading waste management companies cabs everyday across the United Kingdom’s streets.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and dynamic multi-disciplined, Permanent HGV Service Administrator to join their Birmingham based team.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & COMMITMENTS REQUIRED:

· Request assistance when task is outside ability, skill level or training experience.
· Customer care – use all reasonable endeavors to provide the best possible service to our customers.
· Comply with all company H&S procedures and policies
· Risk assessment and ensure safe working practices are being carried out at all times.
· Actively encourage the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
· Highlight possible areas of risk and assist/report any potential hazards.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

To provide administration support, ensuring detailed and accurate records of all work activities are maintained. Ensure job cards are created and all relevant information recorded, invoiced and filed/archived correctly. Update our internal systems with vehicle details, service history, and work progress. This role acts as a key link between workshops, the customer and management ensuring compliance with policies, timely completion of tasks and excellent service delivery.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Raising of job cards and populating technicians’ time bookings/job details.
· Collate and check technicians’ documentation in agreed timescales.
· Finalise parts used and hours charged on jobs
· Close completed jobs and achieve accordingly
· Review and process service invoices and credits
· Create/monitor and process warranty claims
· To collate reports when requested
· Operate within company guidelines and procedures.
· Actively seek to improve product knowledge
