POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team on the night shift in Bedford. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £50,000 and is perfect for a skilled technician who enjoys working independently and is committed to maintaining top-quality service. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet operates safely and efficiently, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Ensure all HGVs meet safety standards and comply with regulatory requirements through thorough inspections and detailed documentation.Accurately log all maintenance and repairs in line with company policies and industry standards.Identify and replace faulty components, ensuring quick turnaround and minimal disruption to operations.Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role with a solid understanding of HGV systems.
• Technical Certification

NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification preferred.
