Are You ‘Made for DAF’? Excellent! Because we’re currently looking for talent. Here at DAF, you’ll make sure that the best trucks are back on the road as fast as possible when they require maintenance. You’ll use the most advanced workshop systems on trucks with state-of-the-art technology. If you enjoy taking on responsibility, then we’ll give you the freedom to perform diagnostics and to decide how to carry out maintenance and repairs on trucks. You’ll be part of a great team with friendly colleagues.

This is what you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
  • You’ll work independently to maintain and repair DAF vehicles and components.
  • You’ll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
  • You’ll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
  • You’ll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

This is what we’re looking for:

  • A completed secondary vocational education.
  • A broad vehicle-related technical knowledge, preferably of DAF products.
  • An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
  • Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.

You will be required to provide your own tool-kit and be in possession of a valid driving licence (preferably HGV but not essential).
