HGV TECHNICIAN

Location: Rochester

REQUIREMENTS:

• Full UK driving licence
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience
• IRTEC accreditation (or willingness to obtain it)
• HGV and/or PSV licence (preferred)
• Previous experience in a commercial vehicle workshop environment

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers in line with VOSA standards
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations
• Attend roadside breakdowns or customer sites when required
• Accurately complete job cards, service sheets, and clocking
• Liaise with the parts department to order and collect necessary components
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and attend relevant training courses
