HGV MECHANIC (TAMWORTH)

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN HGV MECHANIC

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of HGV systems and diagnostic equipment
• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

• Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs
• Perform MOT preparation and vehicle safety checks
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
• Ensure all work is completed to high industry standards
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures
