HGV TECHNICIAN – MANCHESTER – £38,000 TO £40,000 + OVERTIME OPPORTUNITIES

We’re partnering with a well-established business in the commercial waste and recycling industry to find an experienced HGV Technician to join their Manchester-based team. THE ROLE:

• Carry out servicing, inspections, and repairs on a fleet of heavy goods vehicles
• Respond to breakdowns when required, using your initiative to resolve issues quickly and safely
• Prepare and present vehicles for annual MOT and compliance testing
• Take full ownership of your workload to maximise fleet uptime and efficiency
• Perform advanced diagnostics on vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrics
• Keep detailed maintenance and service records up to date
• Work in line with health and safety guidelines at all times
