JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a HGV Technician or similar role
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
  Hours of work are 10:00am to 20.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid break per day, and 1 in 3 Saturdays. (Weekend shifts paid at a premium and where applicable a call out fee is also paid)

Schedule:

• Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes and tyre rotations
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various vehicle systems
• Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper operation after repairs
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs undertaken
