We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

SKILLS

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including vans and flatbed lorries.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
• Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during deliveries.

Work Location: In perso

• Operate lorries, including flatbed vehicles, to transport goods between locations.
• Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Provide mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the vehicle as needed.
