Description We are seeking a part time certified HHA for in-home caregiving service for multiple clients living in New Bedford and Dartmouth areas. shifts are 5-6 hrs each per day/evening, several days a week and flexible. Must have car, valid drivers lic and auto insurance. Must also provide physical, TB test and CPR certification. Pay for this position is $21/hour MUST be reliable and and able to speak English. Potential to pick up more hours after 90 days and a sign on bonus $$. Responsibilities include, meal prep/light housekeeping/personal care and bathroom assist with clients who are a fall risk. Requirements Key Responsibilities Personal Care: Assist with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional encouragement, helping clients maintain a positive outlook. Mobility Assistance: Aid clients with mobility using Hoyer lifts and Sit-to-Stand devices (experience preferred but not required). Follow Care Plans: Work closely with nurses, therapists, and doctors to provide care as outlined in individual care plans. Maintain Environment: Keep the home environment clean, safe, and supportive of each client’s needs. Documentation: Accurately record patient care and report any changes in condition to the care team. Requirements Certification: Current HHA certification. License: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance. Experience: Prior experience with Hoyer lifts and Sit-to-Stand devices is beneficial but not required. Skills: Compassionate, reliable, patient, and committed to helping others.
