Responsibilities
  • Assist the supervisor in managing 10 employees
  • Must be trained and qualified on all duties of the forklift operator and bobcat loader
  • Take daily inventory of warehouse at end of shift, to ensure the count is accurate with what was produced and what was shipped out
  • Daily salometer readings; readings will be conducted each morning and after salt is added to ensure the salt concentration is within correct parameters for proper hide curing. Readings will be documented on a daily log sheet
  • Perform pallet inspections
  • Fill in on the line when necessary to ensure proper crewing
  • Team Leads will be required to start earlier when equipment needs to be started to ensure functionality before start of shift
