Based in Blackburn, ACS Specialist Cleaning Ltd provides hygiene services, working predominantly in the food and industrial sectors. We deliver a variety of high-quality services. We are currently recruiting for our High-Level team.
Through sustained growth over 20 years, ACS would like to welcome self-motivated individuals to join our expanding team as a skilled Industrial Hygiene Operative. With a heavy focus on health & safety.
This vacancy involves working away and travel to and from sites. The starting pay would be £130.00 per day (training rate). Once training is complete the rate would increase to £150.38 per day. When working away an overnight allowance of £20.00 per night is paid, and if Sunday travel is required £100.00 allowance is paid for this. We book accommodation for the team and all will be provided with their own individual room.
We are currently looking for hard-working individuals to work within our High-Level team. This is a varied role, but could be in a multitude of different environment’s. Including factories, food production areas, leisure facilities, oil refinery sites just to name a few. This is specialist cleaning, and training will be provided for the right candidate. The role can involve anything from cleaning floors and stairs to the most complex of High-Level cleaning tasks. Experience of cleaning within factory settings would be an advantage, as would holding your IPAF.
We work across the UK so the role involves a lot of travel and working away from home. So please ensure this is a suitable role before applying. Flexibility is a must as the role requires the candidates to be available weekdays & weekends.
You will be responsible for completion of all relevant checklists and adhere to the work schedule. It is vital to pay full attention to Health & Safety requirements, use of chemicals and equipment in the correct manner, and adhere to the risk assessment and method statements provided, ensuring safe systems of working at all times.
The successful applicant must hold a full, clean driving license. Based in Blackburn, you will be responsible for your own transport to the company warehouse, where transport will be provided for you to travel to the site with the team.
A fair level of fitness is required to undertake this role.
